So GST in Singapore will be raised to 7%, supposedly to ‘help’ lower-income Singaporeans. Riiiiiggghhhttt…The only ones hit by GST are the end users (consumers), which in this case, obviously includes the lower income Singaporeans the government is supposedly trying to “help”. Always nice to have someone kind enough try to help you back on your feet when you have fallen, only in this case the actions of the one trying to help you had a lot to do you being down and out in the first place.

Said it before and will say it again. I only sympathise with the 33.4% who got this “First World Government” they did not vote for. Majulah Singapura. - DSM
