Our moving trips to the new place have been going on great, every weekend we will drive up 2 cars (its good to have driving skills, never know when the skills come in handy) stuffed full with our things and store them at the new place. Of coz, we will arrange the things so that we won't have more work to do when the final move comes around the corner. This move has been by the far the more relaxing one as we do not need to rush as compared to the move in February...lets keep up the momentum! - DSA

. Know I have blogged this before but I'll blog it again...I HATE AUSSIE FLIES!!! They are such irritating pests!

So darn irritating and they follow you not like flies but like hawks...buzzing around you and yes they are pretty stupid as well, very easy to kill. I was swatting one away today while walking to work and holding my mocha kopi in another (with my jacket tucked under my arm) and the sudden swerve of my hands caused me to spill my kopi onto my dress! arrghh! Now I have to go clean up and hopefully the stains can be removed - DSA

We didn't take a lot as they were taken mainly for the sale advertising of our place, Mike took them as to get a professional to do it will be quite costly, about a few hundreds so might as well save the money to get stuff for our new place :)

Pretty proud of ourselves actually, we managed to stick to our schedule and painted the feature walls in the living rooms + 3 bedrooms within 2 weeks. Believe me, it was back breaking but the end results were satisfying. Looks like the next few weeks before we officially moved in December will be busy busy packing and moving the smaller stuff to the new place. We've asked for advice from Mike's mum to see which day is a good day to move to the new place and she told us the 9th December is the best (so funny and coincidental, our move to this current place in Glen Huntly was on 9 February). To ensure our move is smooth and problem free, we are to switch on the lights at the new place on the 2nd and to eat tang yuan. Well with the past issues we have with Glen Huntly, maybe some good old advice is good to follow - DSA

Tiring

It was a tiring weekend for both of us as we started the paintwork at our new place. Thank God we are not painting all the walls but instead only features walls for each room. By the end of the day our arms and legs were aching like crazy and what was best to soothe them away? A nice long massage at Endota Spa for the both of us as we celebrated our 2nd (traditional) wedding anniversary yesterday...money was well spent and yes today is Melbourne Cup day, Mike is enjoying his public holiday now whereas for me, I'm "slogging" away at work. No choice, uni staff have to work on some PH but no worries, we are given 5 days off during the uni shut down period in December so to me, thats a good trade off :) - DSA
