Adaptability - "able to adjust oneself readily to different conditions".

Ever since being here, I really wonder how adaptable I am to this foreign place. Well its a place of residence for me and Mike now but till now I still feel that its not that welcoming. Maybe the locals are threaten by us migrants who actually WORK for a living. Throughout my working experiences here for the past year, I can only count a few people who are actually friendly to people like myself or someone who came from another country.

Thats the general feeling I get from my current place, but best to tell myself not to dwell on it emotionally and focus more on learning more skills which I will need later in my career and/or in life. So bags the question, am I adaptable? I'm not sure, I guess for us to survive here for a year on, it tells that at the very least we are TRYING to get used to things around here. Hope things will turn for the better but at least I know with these "experiences" I will get stronger - DSA

Boring day at work

Everytime after payroll, the next minute me and my colleagues are buried with doing all the filing...today is no exception as well...so many tax file copies to file (in alphabetical order) and I'm still not done! What a way to spend the day in the office...yawning as I'm typing this post now...oh well better enjoy this "slow" day as long as I can coz when October comes, its gonna be a busy period for me here in HR...3 more months to Christmas!! - DSA
