On a countdown to our Christmas shutdown period...4 more days (oh well 3 1/2 days to be exact)..the Uni will be closed for the holidays from 21st December till 1st January and so is Mike's company. Here the work culture is such that most companies will close for the holidays so that people can take the time off to visit families or to go for a short break somewhere. I think thats a very good idea, for a 2 weeks break we only need to apply for 3 days leave..can't get any better than this :)
